Customers using the Wizu platform are responsible for their own data. Wizu will not sell or use contact details customers use on our portal for anything other than the purposes required within the portal. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have suitable permission from their respondents and handle all sensitive data with the suitable care.

Fusion Software Limited (“Fusion Software Limited”, or “we” or “us”) acting under the brand Wizu are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy describes how we capture and use the personal data that we gather about visitors to this website and users of our products and services. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
For the purposes of European data protection legislation Fusion Software Limited acts as data controller in relation to all personal data (e.g. registration, billing and account information) described in this Privacy Policy other than data provided in connection with a client survey.
As further described below, the data controller for surveys conducted by our clients using our software and services is the client who has commissioned the survey, who determines the survey respondents to be contacted, what personal data they will collect, and how their survey questions and responses are to be used and disclosed to others. We will only process such client survey data in accordance with our client’s instructions and for the purposes set out in the relevant contract between us and our client, such as our Software License and Services Agreement.

Information We May Collect From You
When you use our website or our products and services, we may collect and process the following data about you:
Information that you give us
You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our website or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. This includes information that you provide when you register to use our website, subscribe to our services (including setting up a survey or our newsletter), place an order on our website, register for or attend one of our events or training courses, engage in online chat with us or participate in forums on our website and when you report a problem with our website or contact us for customer support. The information you give us may include your name, organization, job title, address, email address, phone number, username, financial and credit card information (including billing address). We also ask for and collect personal data such as an email address and a name from any individual that you authorise to use our products and services.
Our products and services enable our clients to create and administer their surveys. We may host our clients’ surveys on our servers and collect the responses to those surveys. Our clients may also use these products and services to carry out an analysis of this survey data to produce reports. As a result, if you are a client who creates a survey using our services:
- we may hold, store and process survey data for you
- we may process respondent information if you provide us with contact information of potential respondents in order to invite them to respond to your survey
in accordance with the contract in place between us. We do not use the survey data or respondent information ourselves or provide it to third parties, except in the limited circumstances described below.
If you are a respondent to a client survey our software and services will collect and store the responses that you submit, and may carry out an analysis of this data to produce a report to our client. Please note that our data controller client remains responsible for this survey data and its management, as explained below in ‘How We Use the Information’.
Information that we collect about you
When you visit our website we may automatically collect information about your visit such as the webpages you viewed, services you viewed or searched for, length of visits to certain pages, the times and dates of these actions and any phone number used to call our customer support number. We may also collect data from the device and application that you use to access our services, including your IP address (from which we may infer your geographic location), login information and browser type. If you arrive at our website from an external source (such as a link on another website or in an email) we record information about that source.
We may also automatically collect information about the usage of our software, including the version that you are using and the number of users of that software.
Information that we receive from other sources
We may receive information about you from third parties with whom we work including our business partners, sub–contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, analytics providers, search information providers and credit reference agencies and our group companies.
How We Use the Information
We use the information held about you in the following ways:
- To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you or your organisation and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us. This may include providing you with customer support.
- To provide you with our newsletter, satisfaction surveys and with information about other products and services we offer that are similar to those you have already purchased or enquired about or that we feel may interest you. We may also use the information to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you, and to deliver relevant advertising regarding our products and services to you. If you do not want us to use your information in this way you may contact us at any time at privacy@wizu.com or follow the unsubscribe instructions contained in our marketing communications to opt–out of receiving further marketing information. We do not provide your details to third parties for marketing purposes.
- To notify you about changes (permanent or temporary) to our service.
- To ensure that content from our website is presented in the most effective manner for you and your device.
- To administer our website and for our internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research and statistical purposes, and as part of our efforts to keep our website safe and secure and prevent unauthorised access to our services.
We may use information collected about your use of our software or services to provide you with the benefits of any auto update feature or to ensure that you are using the software in accordance with the terms on which it is licensed.
,Legal basis for processing (EEA only): where your data is processed by Fusion Software Limited or if you are an individual from the EEA, our legal basis for collecting and using your personal data when we act as data controller will depend on the personal data concerned and the specific context in which we collect it. However, we will normally collect personal data from you only:
- where we require the personal data to perform a contract with you (e.g. to deliver the services that you have requested);
- where we have your consent to do so, and in this case you have the right to withdraw or refuse to give your consent at any time. This will not however affect the lawfulness of any processing based on your consent before you withdraw it;
- where the processing is in our legitimate interests in operating our business and supplying our products and services (and those legitimate interests are not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms); or
- if we have a legal obligation to collect the personal data from you.
If we ask you to provide personal data to perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the relevant time and advise you whether the provision of your personal data is mandatory or not.

Use of client survey data – clients: we will use your survey data to hold, store and process it in accordance with your instructions and the contract in place between us. We use the survey data purely to provide survey services for you and will only use it for our own purposes if we are required to do so by law.
Use of client survey data – respondents: all information that you provide in response to a client survey will be provided to our client. Please be aware that our clients control the surveys and what happens to the survey data, which may include using that data for research purposes or making the survey responses public. We recommend that you contact the client running the survey to understand their privacy practices and how they will use your survey responses, and review their privacy policy governing the use of your survey data. We will not use your personal details to contact you for any purpose outside of operating the survey.
Disclosure or Sharing of Your Information
We will only disclose your personal information in the circumstances described below.
We may provide your personal information to companies within our group of companies and companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as shipping your order, assessing your credit score, hosting your survey and our website, sending customer communications, or offering customer service or online chat services. Where these companies have access to your personal information, they are authorised to use it only as necessary to provide these services to us. We do not permit or our third party service providers to use any personal information provided to them for marketing purposes.
We use third-party intermediaries to manage credit card processing for us. These intermediaries are not permitted to store, retain, or use your billing and credit card information for any purpose except for credit card processing on our behalf.
We may disclose your information to analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our website.
We may disclose your response to text analytic providers that assist us in providing understanding to your text response.
We may also disclose your personal information:
- if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation such as a court order or subpoena or respond to a request from a government or a regulatory body
- in order to enforce or apply our website terms of use, software licences or other agreements, and to protect the rights (including intellectual property rights), property or safety of Fusion Software Limited, our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction
- to any other third party with your prior consent to do so.
In relation to survey data, we will not provide any information submitted in response to a survey, nor respondent contact details, to third parties other than our client and our service providers, unless we are required to do so by law.
Updating your Information
If you wish to update, amend or request deletion of your personal information or data you may do so by making the change within your account once logged in or by emailing our Customer Services at privacy@wizu.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
On your request we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information (although if you are a survey respondent, please see below). To request this information please contact us at privacy@wizu.com. You may update, amend or request deletion of your information as described above.
If you are a respondent to a survey and wish to access, correct, amend inaccuracies in or delete personal data stored or processed by us on behalf of one of our clients, or exercise the rights described below, you should contact the relevant client as data controller in the first instance. Where needed, we will provide assistance to our clients to deal with your request.
Where your data is processed by Fusion Software Limited or if you are from the EEA you may have the right to exercise additional rights available to you, including:
Right of Erasure: in certain circumstances you have the right to erasure of personal data held about you, although this may be qualified where e.g. it is necessary for that data to be retained for record keeping purposes or compliance with our obligations.
Right to Object: you have the right to request that we stop processing your personal data for marketing purposes, and may have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for other purposes.
Right of Restriction: you may have to right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data (e.g. where you believe that the personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or unlawfully held).
Right to Data Portability: you may have the right to be provided with your personal data in a structured, machine readable and commonly used format and to request that we transfer the personal information provided by you to another data controller.

Data Retention
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide your services or otherwise fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide your services please contact us at privacy@wizu.com.
We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Our retention of survey data is governed by the contract in place with our clients. Our clients as data controllers are responsible for the management of their survey data and can download that data to their own systems or delete it at any time.
Cookies and other Tracking Technologies
We and our partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers use technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts, to analyze trends, administer the website and track users’ movements around the website. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual and aggregated basis. Please note that we do not currently process or comply with any web browser’s ‘do not track’ signal or other similar mechanism that indicates a request to disable online tracking of individual users who visit our website.
We use cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to improve our website’s performance and your experience of using our website. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our website, but your ability to use some features or areas of our website may be limited.
When we send you emails, we may include a web beacon to allow us to determine the number of people who open our emails and information such as when and how many times the email was viewed, whether any links were clicked on and whether the email was forwarded. When you click on a link in an email, we may record this individual response to customise our offerings to you. Web beacons can be refused when delivered via email. We are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums or for private messages that you send via the forum. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
You have the option of receiving email notifications each time someone replies to the threads or boards you add to your notify list. If you no longer wish to receive these types of notifications simply login to your forum account and modify your notifications.
Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to and from third party websites. The information practices and the content of such other websites are governed by the privacy policy of that website. If you click on a link to those websites you will leave our website to go to the website that you selected. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any use of your personal information by such third parties, and we cannot guarantee that they will adhere to the same privacy practices as us. Social Media Features and Widgets
Our website includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets, such as the Share This button or interactive mini–programs that run on our website. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.
Storage and Security
The security of your personal information is important to us and we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
All information that you provide to us is stored on secure servers. When you enter personal information within the customer login area of the site, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Where you use a password to access certain areas of our website and services you are responsible for keeping this password confidential and must not share it with anyone.
Transfers of survey data are governed by the relevant contract that we have in place with our clients. Our data centre providers are also both ISO27001 certified, and our clients’ survey data is encrypted on the servers at rest and in transit across the internet.
No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and any transmission of data to our website or services is at your own risk.
